North Beacon Oyster opened on a wing and a prayer in downtown Rockland in 2018. Filling a surprising void and need for oysters, and seafood in our Coastal area. On any given day we carry up to 8 varieties of Maine oysters. The Chefs have curated a small, focused, and crushable menu. In addition to seafood, we offer local steaks, burgers, and chicken highlighted simply, and deliciously.

The Chefs have used their experiences working in some of Maine and Boston’s best restaurants to create North Beacon Oyster. We use local products as often as seasonality will allow. With an everchanging selection of locally sourced oysters, we hope to highlight all that is fresh and beautiful about Maine seafood while keeping it in its simplest form.
The dining room features local artwork and photos of friends and family. We offer a rotating draft list featuring some of Maine’s top breweries. We also offer a small, but well thought out wine and cocktail list that changes seasonally. Our staff will gladly guide you in finding the perfect beverage to pair with our oysters, and food.
